She has a pointer shaped body. Also the colour, markings and spots. Her head is more staffie like though.

She is a very agile dog. Very fast runner too. I have a video of her climbing an almost vertical cliff. Also a very keen swimmer.

Coming on here has really opened my eyes to what she could be.

Might get her DNA tested as I'm so curious. Not sure how accurate they are though.

Don't know anything about DNA testing, so can't say whether you'd get an accurate result or not.

So many possibilities! I imagine pointers are quite fast, or, of course, there could even be greyhound in the mix! None of the greyhounds I know like water though. Perhaps labrador?!

As for climbing a nearly vertical cliff - I can only suggest mountain goat!

I wouldn't do the DNA thing purely because I cannot see what earthly difference it would make to know. And when you don't know for sure you have lots of interesting conversations with strangers asking you and giving their perceived wisdom lol!

Well that settles it. She's part mountain goat :005:

It doesn't make any difference whatsoever what she is. It doesn't change a thing really. Would just be nice to know.

Did you travel a long way to get her or was she fairly local? Just wondering if there's any chance you might bump into a litter mate some time - it would be really interesting to see how similar they are.

60 miles away. Very much doubt I'll bump into any of them.

I presume if the man was selling them as EBT then he wanted them to be big bull terrierish...and insinuated as such. So wh knows, Staffordshire, American bulldog, am staff, Great Dane...I can't see pointer much, apart from the colour, but then any of above can produced a mottled skin.

    Cheers guys.

I Google imaged pointers and some of them look like her. The stance when they are sat down. Just some similarities.
