Does anyone know anything about the Brazilian Mastiff? I am partial to Mastiff breeds although I have not owned one. We have 2 dogs right now and they are medium sized. I have read up on them a little but wanted to know if anyone has had first hand experience. I do have experience with large dogs. Thanks for any insight!
The breed has a reputation for being very aggressive. It is banned in six countries, one of which the United Kingdom.
Oh wow! I did not know that... Thanks for letting me know. All it said in the ad is "they are not for everyone" and "they have certain requirements". I will look at other breeds.
I checked and they are banned here in Australia too . Figures why I haven’t heard the name too often.
On further review, one of the words used to describe this breed is "impetuous". That is not a good word to describe a dog.
