my heeler collie mix has really bad flea allergies and the topical don’t work very well because it is hard to get the topical on his skin and not his long hair does anyone have any recommendations for medications that are safe for this breed?
I give my dogs nexgard, it’s a once a month pill for flees and ticks. Have never had a flee problem with either of them.
I give my heeler nexgard for fleas and ticks, and heartgard for heartworms. It treats most other worms, too. Both are a monthly chewables, and Kyrie takes both like they’re treats.
