My son Christoffer (15) keeps training with the sled and gets better and better And it is sooo fun to se both him and the dogs enjoy themselves!!! The temperatures showed -20 cold degrees, clear and beautiful! By the way - HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU IN HERE!!! AND MAY ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO EACH AND EVERYONE IN THE YEAR 2009 - WETHER THEY HAVE 2 OR 4 LEGS ;D ;D!!! Ready - steady.... And off they go!!!!!!!! After a good while they return! Heading back to the dog yard Almost home ! And at their return, mum took a late evening-trip:
Yes it's quite cold;=) Until x-mas eve we had beautiful snowy cold weather outside with about 15-20 cm snow, and I really looked forward to the week between x-mas eve and newyears-eve, to go on wonderful trips. So you can imagine my disappointment when we woke up x-mas day, and absolutely ALL snow was gone over night! And it stayed away, until newyears-eve, then it fell snow in buckets (and I was overjoyed:=))! And it keeps coming down more and more:=)))
I think we are all very jealous here.....Not just snow but a sled and dogs too!! Thanks so much for sharing.
Seriously jealous! It was -5 this morning in Bracknell Forest but no sign of snow. At least the puddles had frozen so the dogs didn't have to pull me through a foot of water! Mick
Thank you all so much ! But I must admit one thing I never thought I was going to say - and that is that the snow we get is deeply appreciated even in Norway, since it may go as soon as it came (I've learned) ! So one just has to make the most of every day!!! So I'm sharing with you all again, pics from todays trips. We went out this morning and didn't get in until well past 19.00 o'clock this evening! Minus 17 cold ones today. Our "resting-place". A Norwegian wind and weather protecter we use to build when outside. Called "Gapahuk". I don't think there is an english word for this;=). Dogs really enjoying themselves - doing what they love most of all - work! Resting The kids love to come along! And it seems they never get to big either, lol My fiance, Frank on his old - but good - scooter lol!
