Now that 2015 is only hours away have your dogs made any New Year Resolutions? I've written down Georgina and Gwylim's so whenever they lapse I can remind of their promises! Georgina ... To be better behaved Give up chasing cats Come inside as soon as she's called Give up eating Gwylim's dinner Not to moan when Gwylim sleeps in her bed Not to sleep in the middle of mum's bed Gwylim ... To sometimes let Georgie win when they're having a race Give up chasing cats Give up eating Georgie's dinner To sleep in his own bed and not Georgina's Not to stick his wet nose in mum's face at 6.30 in the morning Not to dump cushions/ mum's underwear on the drive. Don't know how long these resolutions will last, no doubt only as long as mine do which is about 24 hours!
This is Pereg's list: - Not to interrupt mommy when she is on the telephone. - Not to ask to go out/for food/for anything as soon as mommy has a quiet moment. - Not to use her front paws on the keyboard to get to any tissues if mommy has forgotten to tip it up when she is not using the computer. [It messes things up] - Not to dig under mommy's pillow to see if she has left any tissues there. - Not to bring indoors the nice crunchy bit of recycled food she enjoys outside. [I am sure there will be more before midnight!]
The most important one... - When mommy says to move because she needs the loo, she means she needs the loo NOW!
If only they would keep their resolutions, I would just ask for one each. Eddie:- I will come as soon as Mum calls me, even when there are new smells which I would like to investigate. Tweed:- I will leave any lumps alone, and not operate on them myself.

Sophie- I will try not to pee in my bed when Mommy oversleeps, or at least I'll hold it in long enough to get to the kitchen where it's easier to clean up, or maybe I'll be very good and wait till I get in the yard. I will try not to pull Mommy into trees when I see those demon squirrels. Callie- I will try to let Mommy's leg bruises heal before I add more...just VERY happy to see her when she comes in!!!!!! I will try to be more patient when I meet human males. Some of them just want to give me a good scratching, I needn't frighten them all away.
Diva...... Not to chase cats, birds and any other small furries, also keep to me diet. Mr. Tiggs..... Not to stop and smell every lamp post and blade of grass, and not annoy the girls. Angel..... Not to wind Tiggs up.
