    Sent along the old man today. We will miss him. He's always been a good boy. Here's his last photo. RIP Buddy. Screenshot_20240430_145645_Messages.jpg

    It’s always hard to say goodbye to our furry friends. They hold such a special place in our hearts. May your heart feel full when you think of all the time you shared with Nigredo.

    Losing our loved ones is always a dreadful time, and a dog's lifetime is never long enough. Sending sympathy to you MJ.
    Run free Nigredo.

    Thank you guys very much. He lived a good life and was over 12 years old. Weird not seeing him here but no more horrible arthritis, kidney and liver failure, bladder cancer, etc. He's free from all that now.

    Malone is totally unfazed... he's always been an attention hog anyway.

    Oh Myra, I'm so sorry.

    I feel as though I know Nigredo and Malone as I've followed your posts about them all their lives.

    Run free big guy. Shine down brightly

    Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep
    Do not stand at my grave and weep;
    I am not there. I do not sleep.
    I am a thousand winds that blow.
    I am the diamond glints on snow.
    I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
    I am the gentle autumn rain.
    When you awaken in the morning's hush
    I am the swift uplifting rush
    Of quiet birds in circled flight.
    I am the soft stars that shine at night.
    Do not stand at my grave and cry;
    I am not there.
    I did not die.
    Often attributed to Mary Elizabeth Frye, recent research suggests she plagiarized it from Clare Harner.
