    Walking while going

Hello everyone. We have a 9 year old American Bull that has started walking while going number 2 and not caring where she goes. She gives us no notification when she has to go so she is going in the house quite often. Is this due to her hips going bad or could there be another cause?

The only way to know for sure is to have her checked out by a vet.

If she's only just started this it is more likely to be a medical problem. Could be her hips, or it could be an infection or virus. As TT said, the only way to know for sure is to take her to the vets

I had a seventeen year old Lowchen that did the same thing - though he could hold his urine OK. So sad, he was still absolutely sound in body and still had a full set of white teeth.

So sorry to hear the news. At least now you know the reason although it never much consolation when there's really nothing that can help. I was hoping it would be better news :(
